Mortgage Connect Moves Digital Mortgage forward by combining Stavvy® and Simply Secure Sign®
Connecting industry-leading eClosing, Remote Online Notarization, SMART Doc® generation, eNote and eVault capabilities through a single, end-to-end digital closing platform.
PITTSBURGH, PA, October 6, 2026, Mortgage Connect, LP, one of the nation’s largest providers of mortgage services and technology solutions, today announced that it has purchased the majority interest in the Stavvy® platform and plans to merge its business operations with Simply Secure Sign®, Mortgage Connect’s eClosing solution, creating a stronger digital closing platform with expanded capabilities, greater resources and deep industry expertise.
The combination brings together two complementary technologies to deliver a more comprehensive end-to-end eClosing experience for lenders, servicers, investors and settlement partners. This partnership allows Mortgage Connect to continue its mission of lowering the cost of the real estate transactions for both refinance & purchase, while controlling risk, staying compliant and delivering the highest-level consumer experience.
For lenders, that’s where the real value comes in.
Today, lenders frequently rely on multiple vendors to execute a fully digital closing — creating separate integrations, contracts, security reviews, workflows and operational handoffs. The Mortgage Connect and Stavvy combination eliminates much of that fragmentation and provides lenders with a single platform from closing eligibility through digital execution and collateral management.
Mortgage Connect has built a national eClosing platform known for delivering a seamless borrower and lender experience across remote online notarization, IPEN, hybrid and traditional closing transactions. Stavvy adds the digital note and collateral infrastructure that completes that experience, including SMART Doc® generation, eNote execution across all 50 states, eVault custody, and MERS eRegistry registration and transfer.
“Mortgage Connect has always focused on innovation that creates meaningful efficiencies and lowers the cost of the real estate transaction. By bringing Simply Secure Sign and Stavvy together, we are creating a more complete digital mortgage platform with expanded capabilities across closing, servicing and collateral management. This combination allows our clients to simplify workflows, reduce operational friction and deliver a better experience for their consumers. We’re excited to bring this enhanced platform to the market and continue helping lenders and servicers move toward a more efficient, fully digital mortgage experience.”
— Jeff Coury, CEO, Mortgage Connect, LP
The combined platform will identify the appropriate closing experience for each transaction through digital eligibility technology, determining whether a loan can be completed through full remote online notarization, IPEN, hybrid execution or a traditional wet closing.
From there, lenders can remain within the same ecosystem through eClosing/document execution, notarization, eNote creation, MERS eRegistry registration, eVault custody and post-closing processes. That end-to-end capability extends across purchase, refinance, home equity and loss mitigation transactions.
Mortgage Connect currently serves 19 of the top 20 lenders and servicers in the United States across origination, servicing and default. By bringing together Stavvy® and Simply Secure Sign®, Mortgage Connect now delivers a more complete end-to-end digital closing platform to its nationwide network, helping accelerate the industry’s transition to fully digital mortgage execution.
“What makes this combination so compelling is how naturally the two platforms fit together. Stavvy has built the technology infrastructure around eNotes, eVaults and digital collateral, while Mortgage Connect has built an exceptional eClosing experience with the scale and operational execution to support the country’s largest lenders. Bringing those capabilities together under one roof creates something very different for the market — a true end-to-end eClosing platform where lenders no longer have to piece together multiple providers to complete a digital mortgage transaction.”
— Kyle Stephenson, CEO, Stavvy
Stavvy’s leadership team and employees will join Mortgage Connect as the companies combine their technology, expertise and continue to expand the platform and its capabilities.
