Mr. Coury is the Chief Executive Officer at Mortgage Connect. He has over 20 years’ leadership experience within the title and close industry. He is well known and respected for his passion and drive for operational excellence and building a strong customer service culture. His reputation has been built from his ability to provide clients with customer-centric, customizable solutions while achieving exemplary success increasing revenue, streamlining operational processes, creating strategic partnerships and improving profit margins. Prior to taking the helm at Mortgage Connect in 2012, Mr. Coury began his tenure in the title and close industry with ServiceLink in 1997 upon the company’s founding. Named as the Chief Executive Officer in 2002, he grew the company to a national, multi-platform organization more than tripling revenue and headcount. In 2005, he spearheaded ServiceLink’s sale to Fidelity National Financial, where he remained as the company’s chief executive until 2011. During this time span, he quadrupled the company’s revenue through acquisition and organic growth. Under Mr. Coury’s leadership, ServiceLink became the industry’s largest, most respected mortgage service provider in the country, strategically partnered with the top lenders in the nation. Mr. Coury’s business acumen has also enabled him to perform successful consulting engagements across numerous industries during his career as President of The Coury Financial Group. He is a distinguished client advocate and management executive with unique, problem-resolution capabilities and is well-respected for his leadership. Mr. Coury earned his B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Finance and Economics from Duquesne University. Mr. Coury currently resides in Pittsburgh, PA with his wife and 7 children.

CRISTY WARD

CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER

Ms. Ward is the Chief Strategy Officer at Mortgage Connect. She has 19 years’ industry experience working with top ten lenders to develop strategy, product solutions, and streamlined processes to maximize operational efficiencies and mitigate risk. She has earned a reputation as a problem-solver who develops innovative, tailored solutions to manage today’s complex issues, including managing capacity, improving quality, keeping abreast of regulatory standards, improving loan transparency, and meeting the challenges of shifting to the centralization of vendors for third-party oversight. Prior to Mortgage Connect, Ms. Ward held key leadership positions with noteworthy companies including Stewart Title. She was the Executive Vice President of Sales at National Real Estate Information Services (NREIS), where she developed new business models and supporting infrastructure that led her team to triple the company’s new sales volume and played a pivotal role in the company’s sale to a Fortress Investment Group in 2011. She has served on numerous industry panels and is an expert in Title Insurance & Closing Models as well as regulatory policies and procedures. Her achievements have been recognized through several awards including the prestigious MBA Doc Jore Award for Excellent Service.

PETER PRESLAND-BYRNE

CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

Mr. Presland-Byrne serves as Mortgage Connect’s Chief Information Officer and provides leadership and vision for the technology platforms. Prior to joining Mortgage Connect, he served as Freddie Mac’s Chief Architect. In this role, he played an instrumental lead in enhancing their architecture program and strengthening their enterprise technology planning capabilities. He also standardized the company’s technology platforms and data pool. Mr. Presland-Byrne was also an executive champion of culture change and innovation initiatives at Freddie Mac. Prior to Freddie Mac, Mr. Presland-Byrne worked in a number of senior leadership roles within the financial and mortgage industries, including Bank of America and Countrywide Financial. He has over 20 years of experience in delivering agile technology solutions to enable business growth and profitability, with experience in enterprise architecture, software management, technology strategy, and systems modernization and simplification. He has received industry recognition as a Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader, Wall Street Journal Elite 8, and Transformational Leader award. Mr. Presland-Byrne has spoken in both industry and academic venues and resides in the Pittsburgh area.

ROBERT FRANCO

PRESIDENT, ORIGINATIONS

Mr. Franco is the President of Mortgage Connect’s Originations Division and provides strategic oversight in the Company’s growth initiatives. An industry veteran with over 27 years’ experience in the Tile, Close and Appraisal Vendor Management Industry, he has held leadership positions with LSI, Prudential, Merrill Lynch, EFS, FNF, First American and USAA. He is experienced in starting and building successful organizations from the ground up and has a unique background and perspective with experience as both the lender and as a service provider. Most recently, he was a founding member, owner and the former President of ULS. ULS was sold to USAA Real Estate Company in 2011 and Mr. Franco continued to lead the organization and maintained a role on the ULS/USAA Real Estate Company Board of Directors for 6 years. He is well known for building centralized production platforms designed to out think, out work and outperform with a strong commitment and a continued focus on the consumer experience. Simply put, his management style is designed to think more and react less. He is six sigma green belt certified and is well known as an effective problem solver with a can-do attitude. Mr. Franco earned his BSBA in Finance and a minor in Quantitative Business Analysis from Robert Morris University. Mr. Franco currently resides in Beaver County with his wife and 3 children.

Scot Rose

PRESIDENT, VALUATIONS

Mr. Rose is President of Mortgage Connect's Valuations Division, Valuation Connect, and responsible for leading and developing the division's culture of excellence and nationwide network of fee appraisers. Mr. Rose is a certified residential appraiser with over sixteen years of experience in real estate appraisal and collateral risk management. He is currently serving his second term as a Governor appointed member of the Colorado Board of Real Estate Appraisers as the AMC Representative. In addition, he is also a member of the Appraisal Foundation's Industry Advisory Council (IAC). In March 2017, Mortgage Connect acquired Urban Lending Solutions Appraisals (ULSA) and formed Valuation Connect. Prior to the acquisition, Mr. Rose held a key leadership position at ULSA as President and Chief Valuation Officer for seven Years. In addition to his vast valuation experience, Mr. Rose provides expertise in collateral due diligence services and default management solutions.

SHERI YOHO

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

Ms. Yoho serves as Mortgage Connect’s Executive Vice President of Operations. Prior to Mortgage Connect, Ms. Yoho served as the First Vice President of Closing Operations at Fidelity National Financial, ServiceLink Division, where she also held several key, senior management positions during her tenure. As the Assistant Vice President of Operations, she managed Purchase Closing Operations and Cell Site Departments. She was consequently promoted to Assistant General Counsel with responsibility for risk and compliance matters. Ms. Yoho served in that capacity until taking the position of Vice President of Closing Operations, where she was accountable for Refinance and Purchase Title and Closing Operations inclusive of overall customer satisfaction. She also built the centralized REO Title and Closing Operations teams and managed the overall REO customer satisfaction, expanding the team from 6 to more than 300 employees at three sites. A licensed Pennsylvania attorney, Ms. Yoho brings over thirteen years’ experience in all facets of the mortgage and title industry to her role at Mortgage Connect. Her extensive and varied senior management experience in the industry are driving Mortgage Connect’s leading performance in the market and continued growth.

PAMELA DUNBAUGH

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONAL STRATEGY AND EXECUTION

Ms. Dunbaugh has over 24 years of mortgage industry experience inclusive of several senior leadership roles at ServiceLink. Throughout her career, she has held key management roles managing the Valuation, Title and Closing departments. Most recently, Ms. Dunbaugh served as the Senior Vice President, Business Services, Title and Closing Divisions. In this role, she managed all facets of the title and closing operations. She was also the Senior Liaison linking title and closing services with technology services, responsible for the development of the best possible technology and workflow systems. At Mortgage Connect, she is responsible for developing strategies that enhance the Company’s business model and partners with the Operational, Technology, and Sales divisions to develop and coordinate sound processes and lines of communication to provide the optimal customer experience.
